Certification & Career

Q: What type of certification will I receive upon completion?
A: Upon successfully passing the course, you will receive two critical documents:

The Official FDACS Certificate of Security Officer Training (Form D-1). This is the state-mandated document you must submit with your license application to FDACS.
A Certificate of Completion from our school for your records, perfect for showcasing to potential employers.

Q: What is the difference between your certificate and the state license?
A: This is a crucial distinction. Our course provides the required training and the certificate that proves you completed it. You then use our certificate to apply for the actual State of Florida Class "D" Security Officer License from FDACS. We give you the key; the state issues the license.

Q: What can I do with this certification?
A: With your Class "D" license, you are qualified to work as an unarmed security officer in a wide range of settings, including corporate offices, retail stores, residential complexes, hospitals, and more. It is the foundational license for a career in Florida's growing security industry.

The Learning Experience

A: Our 4-day program is instructor-led with a fixed schedule, taught in person by our DI Instructor. This gives you structured training and direct access to an expert. Individual session bookings are not available for this course.

A: Our instructors are actively engaged throughout the training day. You can ask questions in real-time during sessions.

Q: Is there a final exam? What if I don't pass?
A: Yes, there is a final examination to ensure you have mastered the critical material required by the state. We are committed to your success. If you do not pass on your first attempt, we allow one complimentary retake of the exam, absolutely free of charge!

A: We are based in the Kissimmee/Celebration area.
